That’s where we left off after crowning 2NE1 MTV Iggy’s Best New Band in the World last December… which brings us to today, as we roll up our sleeves to begin the ever-exciting selection process for 2012′s potential Best New Bands here at MTV Iggy and MTV K.

We’ve got a long way to go, but we’d like to hear your thoughts on who from K-pop deserves a shot to be a Best New Band candidate this year. That said, we’ve rounded up ten of K-pop’s rising stars, from this year’s explosive debuts to seasoned rookies that have finally begun to shed their newbie images.

Did EXO live up to all that pre-debut hype? Will B.A.P succeed in their mission for global domination? Has miss A lived up to their name and become Asia’s A-class star?
